I haven't gotten any purple engrams to drop since the patch update. I haven't decoded a blue that went to purple either so I'm still waiting for the magic to happen. I'm thinking when they add the option to opt-in for voice communications with strangers that is when they will have matchmaking for the Vault of Glass but we will see if it's just wishful thinking on my part.
